Cosmic Cliffs - Nebula Carina - JWST Celebrities The region resembles a tarantula’sAmong the first images released from NASA's Webb Space Telescope, this section of the Carina Nebula is split horizontally between a gas and dust "shoreline" forming a nebula along the bottom part and a ocean like clear upper portion. Spattered across both sections is a starfield, showing numerous stars of many sizes. Certainly a worthy target to be among the first images from our new space telescope.
